Vindhyachal

Vindhyachal sits on the banks of the Ganga roughly 65 km from Varanasi, best known for the Maa Vindhyavasini Temple. Together with Kaal Bhairav in Varanasi and Kashi Vishwanath, it forms the "Tridev" circuit that many pilgrims aim to complete in a single journey.

The town is smaller and more local in character than Varanasi or Prayagraj, and is typically visited as a stop en route between the two rather than as a standalone destination.

Maa Vindhyavasini Temple One of the Shakti Peeth, dedicated to the goddess in her form as Vindhyavasini.
Kali Khoh A cave shrine to the goddess Kali, part of the same devotional circuit.
Ashtabhuja Temple A hillside temple to the eight-armed form of the goddess, completing the trio with Vindhyavasini and Kali Khoh.

Year round, though Navratri sees the temple at its busiest and most significant.
